On Thursday 09/18/2014, a meetup of MongoDB was held in Madrid in which two talks, first with Unai Zorrilla, Microsoft MVP and.NET expert where we heard about a MongoDB case in production about compilation of information from various power generationplants, he explained the change in a world of database relations to a data model relationships, plus the success of combining process with Hadoop MapReduce for statistical analysis. The second talk was given by Ricardo Crespo team member of Stratio Spark integration with MongoDB, where he spoke of the tools we have available for MongoDB for a mass data processing, focusing on the paradigm of MapReduce, which he explained with several analogies and discussed how to use it directly from MongoDB, such as an integration with Hadoop and Spark, the advantages and disadvantages of each were reviewed and the possibilities that we have with this processing paradigm.
